Phuket Day 4

Prem took us on a tour around Anantara Phuket today. He just started working there for 6 months. So, after breakfast we met him at Turtle Village which located right in front of the resort. Before we went to the resort, he brought us around Turtle Village where it's more like a mini shopping complex for the guests who staying in Mai Khao to shop or to eat other than in the resorts.

The resort is beautiful and serene. For those who like village kinda concept must love this place, i however born in the village so i really into modern type, because whenever i need the "village" kinda moment i can always go back to my hometown ! lol

And then we went back to our resort and had our massage by the beach then spent some quality time by the pool and in the evening we went out for dinner then headed to Central Festival Mall since Prem and wife said that it is the best mall in Phuket so we thought we should pay a visit, then BAMM ! it is the best mall ! lol.. then we came back to the resort and spent some time at their Lounge while enjoying the view for the last time because tomorrow we're leaving to Hat Yai.

Phuket Day 3

Well, never missed my breakfast on my holiday ! haha.. Then we spent some time swimming at the pool before heading to Patong, we needed to pick up hubby's tailored shirts then do a little shopping at Phuket Premium Outlet, Hooters and Hard Rock Café then off to Tiger Kingdom.

We arrived at Tiger Kingdom at around 4pm, the place closes at 6pm so, we had about a couple of hours left to spend there. First the promoter asked me to choose which size of tiger i wanted to take pictures with, so i chose the biggest which was 18 months old and he's sooooo big ! no kidding ! it was scary but we survived ! lol.. and she also asked me to take the professional photographer which cost us 500 Baht + Big Tiger 800 Baht per person. But the professional photographer is optional just she prefer me to take it, so, i took it. ;)

We had a quick bite at their restaurant before going in the cage. Meanwhile we both checked out how other people doing in the cage. So, in the cage had about 5 big tigers all together and 1 look kinda scary with his behaviour. But we made it safely ! thank GOD ! It's very scary to look but not so scary when u're in the cage with them but still u got the nerve a little ! especially when they gave u eye contact ! perghhhh.. scary as hell ! but well, i did it ! and absolutely not again ! lol

What an experience ! 

So, some people been sharing around the thought about the tiger should not be in the cage, they belong in the jungle.. bla..bla..bla.. whatsoever. Well, u not wrong but this is my thought, yes, the habitat is belong in the jungle but they not "really" safe there either. Some irresponsible people hunt them and kill them for their skin, their teeth and GOD knows what else they take and sell. So, from my point of view from the positive side, they at least keep the tiger for our children and grandchildren, our future for them to get to know what a tiger is, how the tiger's looks like. Plus the tiger there look more healthier than the tiger in the zoo ! But of course, other people have different opinion about this and i totally respect that. 

Well, after spending some quality time with the tigers we headed to Patong Beach and hangout with hubby's long lost friend, catch up for awhile over dinner before we head back to our hotel and catch a good night's sleep.

Phuket Day 2

Hey fellas, it's second day already ! so, today we are going to Maiton Island trip. As usual our pick up's at 7am then we went to pick up other guests all over Phuket ! First we went to Paresa Resort then off to Kalima Resort & Spa then to Royal Phuket City, for about 2 hours in the van we finally arrived at Phuket Pier ready to board our speedboat and depart for Maiton Island.

The journey from the pier to Maiton Island is about 15mins boat ride and the wave that time was so big ! yup ! so bumpy but i enjoyed it ! but because of the big wave and dangerous undercurrent so we are not allowed to go for snorkelling nor swimming at that time. We were basically asked to sit for awhile while waiting for the sea to be a little bit calm, at an abandoned restaurant which they made as their port for their guests to hangout. This is my second time travelling with Love Andaman and i'm very satisfied with their services! i really recommend to u guys who happen to go to Phuket for a holiday and dunno which tour operator to go for an island trip ! They're the ones whom u want to go with ! trust me ! they're quite expensive though but it's worth every penny ! but they only go to a few nice Islands such as Maiton Island, TaChai Island, Surin Island and Similan Island. This is best of the best Island u should not miss !

I've been to Similan Island before as u can see in my previous Phuket trip last year. So, my original plan was i'm supposed to go for Tachai Island this year but they only open for Tachai trip every year on 15th October to 15th May only. So, not my luck this year it seems. So, i chose Maiton instead. Maiton Island is a small private island resort basically for honeymooners and the island itself has very nice blue sea with nice coral.

After enjoying the sea breeze for awhile the tour guide take us all up to the view point where we can see the whole Phuket from up there. After taking several pictures we hiked down the hill and straight away headed to the speedboat and get ready for snorkelling. After about an hour we all swim back to the shore and had lunch before we leave back to our hotel and get ready for dinner.

Byebye Maiton Island

Well another 2hours van ride after sending all the other guests to their hotels we finally arrived to our hotel safe and sound ! but i kinda get car sick ! but what to do, i chose to stay at the very far resort ! serve me right?! pfft* i headed to the pool straight and ordered our dinner by the pool while i having a night swim. i actually kinda feel like what a waste paying for quite an expensive resort but i'm out all the time. So, i need to enjoy their facilities as much as i could ! right? lol

So, that's my second day basically ! we are going to Tiger Kingdom on our 3rd Day. Will share in 2 days time. love love XX
